Hello there!
I don't have much to tell you, I simply created this account in order to share my pictures with you guys, in hope that you find them helpful for your needs, furthermore I thought it was a better idea than letting them "rot" on my harddisk.
I'm pretty close to nature, so that's why you'll find lots of beautiful captured moments in the "nature" gallery. Furthermore, I'm quite into gothic music, art and lifestyle, of course you can find all necessary clichés like statues, cemeteries and other dark stuff ;-)
Another gallery which means a lot to me is the "medieval" gallery. I visit medieval markets at least 3-4 times a year and I love the atmosphere there..may be that's the gallery which will be extended most.
Hope you like my galleries, help yourselves and always feel free to contact me for any inquieries or whatever. (But please- do see the rules in my journal!)

Cheers,
Dragoroth

Please take some time to read the rules for the use of my stock:

I actually don't ask you for much too much. I only ask you to keep in mind the following rules:

This stock was created to give something back to the community, which I feel has supported me a lot recently.
Feel free to use any of my stock images,as long as you mind the following conditions:

1.
I'd like to see what you've done with my images. Please send me a link to your work so that I can have a look...
2.
Please credit me and link back to my stock account.
3.
I really don't care wether you just change the colours or whatever, I'm not professional enough myself, so be creative
and do whatever you want to with my pictures.
4.
In case you'd like to use something outside DA, I'm sure I won't mind (as long as it's a non-commercial usage), but
please send me a note and do ask. Just taking pictures and uploading them anywhere else is nothing but stealing.

Rules for the use of premade backgrounds & Stockpacks:

1. I allow use on DA only. Do NOT upload the stock packs anywhere else.
2. Don't use anything to create stock on your own.

3. Please add a comment below the premade background that you've used, referring to your picture - I'd like to see what you've done!

4. Please add a comment on my main account page([link] so that I know stock's been used.

Thanks a lot !

Enjoy!

Hi everybody!

First of all, I've added some new stock pictures, most containing rather "wintery" themes...as winter doesn't seem to end and it's still f*****g cold here in Germany it's a great chance to capture some freezing moments...

Secondly, there's something I need to know. I've been thinking about if for a while and I could need some feedback I guess.
My stock's being used at least 50 times a day. The quality of my images is ok, but still not quite what I want it to be, this is actually due to my crappy camera, as my skills have improved a lot. There are some images, or to be honest a lot of images I've taken which I won't offer on DA. Sure, most people ask and follow the rules, but there are also some black sheep who just take what they want, use my stock for commercial projects... (This guy who used my stock for designing t-short prints and seeling them without my permission....grrrr!)

To put it in a nutshell, I'm thinking about offering parts of my stock on a commercial basis, I'll open an account on gettyimages and fotolia.
If anyone wants my pictures there, he/she has to pay for the license and I'll get some money for it.

So what I've been asking myself is:

Would you also be willing to pay for my stock if you needed it (for your job, for private purposes, etc...) ?
Please consider this to be a general question, everything uploaded here so far will remain online and free.

It's just about opening a high-quality commercial stock on other sites like gettyimages and fotolia and yes, earning some money with my work. I mean, I've given away a few thousand images already - for free.
Comments and answers below would be highly appreciated!!!!

Thank you very much an advance!

Stephan
